It's our second Christmas together. It feels so good that this year, he is more "at home" with my family. For someone who only gets to be in my home for only a few hours in a year in my house, he seemed to have been there for a long time - which makes me feel so nice seeing that he is already comfortable with my family.
It was fun this year because my cousins and I did our Christmas shopping (rush) together as all of us (my generation) are all working and most of them are call center agents that's why they don't have that much time. We also had our "monito monita" for cousins and uncles and aunts due to financial constraints as our family is quite big.
Quite disappointing though that we're not complete - my married cousins spent dinner in the sides of their wives and went home only after 12; my eldest uncle didn't come despite the phone invite that morning - family dispute; my youngest aunt came in late with her children. Amidst these things, we managed to entertain ourselves with whatever we have and whoever came for our annual Christmas dinner. After dinner, we gave the gifts to the kids and took lots of pictures. I received a Nike capri length leggings from tita Amy and a necklace with a studded-cam pendant from Ate Jhing.
Here's my family!

Wala man ang 1k na gift to the kids from tito Gerry that night, masaya pa rin ang lahat, especially te kids with the toys they received.
They say that Christmas is for kids, I say, the true spirit of Christmas is not only in giving of gifts but the togetherness of the family and loved ones... it's the best gift one can ever receive.
